Vampire the Masquerade

It's been about three years since I last played VtM, still remains my first and my favorite.

I tend to draw during sessions because while Vampire is supposed to be played all dark and dramatic it never ends that way.

Lately I've been drawing a lot of this Tzimisce inspired woman. Ixtli's been helping clear some of the cobwebs in my brain and she's always a lot of fun to draw. Originally developed for a Kingdom Hearts villain OC group on DeviantArt that I still frequent because the people there are really very talented. Ixtli manipulated flesh, embodied a lot of the older female Disney villain and was more than a touch sociopathic. It was fun coming up with news ways for her to use her abilities with knowledge I had about skin and just to see how she evolved over time.

Ixtli used to be a priestess to the Aztec gods with a special affinity with the Flayed God. She also used to be a Grandmother, she's not sure what she liked being more.

Still Alive-last Year's OCT

Played with the idea of a walking biological weapon for an Original Character Tournament on DeviantArt last year. Plot was there were two warring factions of bio engineered humans that were bred to be cannon fodder, one side was violently against being treated as slaves and thought since they were better made they should be the ones in charge. Other side thought that they should work with their creators and stand on equal ground.

Sara was the first character I had made specifically for the event, she was originally a prototype of the bio engineered humans that were actually respected members of their unit until the entire brood went crazy and killed their human coworkers. There were a lot of Lovecraftian referenced I had snuck into the design, backstory and comics but I made them too subtle to even pick out (it's like didn't even want people to pick up on it). Intended on making her an evil character but the more I thought about what I wanted to do with her she started becoming more like someone who would damn herself to save more people. Her design was a lot of fun. I want to do more with the character someday.

There's a meme on DeviantArt.com that has artists drawing their characters at different points in their life. Did one for Merichi, should have gone a touch further than 50 since she and her kind have a lifespan of about 300 years. Also fiddled with photoshop inking and coloring.
